TUESDAY: rain and showers, chance of some scattered thunder, high 59.
WEDNESDAY: rain and showers, rain could be heavy at times, high 54.
THURSDAY: rain/snow mix around sunrise, then ending, mostly cloudy, high 48.
FRIDAY: mostly sunny in the morning, then clouds in the evening, chance for some flurries overnight, daytime high in the mid-40's, overnight lows around freezing.
SATURDAY: partly cloudy, high 50.
Central Ohio picked up about .04" of rain yesterday... and the rivers normally wouldn't have any trouble handling that amount of precipitation. But with the ground already saturated and many of the rivers already near capacity, every bit of rain has the potential to create problems. And the rain could become a very serious problem this week.
High pressure is our main influence Sunday and for the first part of Monday. The center is far to our north, but it's enough to buy us some sunshine today. Late in the day Monday, a warm front pushes into the region. Clouds will arrive ahead of it and showers will begin in the evening and continue overnight.
A low-pressure center will follow into the area on Tuesday. Expect some showers (and a little thunder) with it. The rain could be heavy at times on Tuesday and Wednesday. The runoff could be difficult for the rivers and streams... so there is a very good possibility of (more) flooding by the end of the week.
