TODAY: dense fog in the morning, then partly cloudy, high 50.
TONIGHT: scattered showers changing to rain-snow mix overnight, low 31.
SUNDAY: scattered showers and mix in the early morning, then clearing, high 42.
MONDAY: mostly sunny, high 51.
TUESDAY: on and off showers, warmer, high 59.
WEDNESDAY: rain, heavy at times, and a chance of passing thunder, high 57.
THURSDAY: scattered rain-snow mix in the morning then mostly cloudy, high 44.
FRIDAY: partly cloudy, high 45.
Yesterday's rain left the ground saturated... and, in some places, there's still a little bit of snow on the ground. So, plenty of moisture in the air combined with a cold, saturated surface... we have really dense fog. The FOG ADVISORY is in effect until at least 10am.
A significant low-pressure center will pass by us to the south this evening. On the northern edge of it, we'll get some scattered rain showers... those will change to rain-snow mix as the temperatures drop overnight. They should end early in the morning as the low moves eastward.
High pressure builds in for the second-half of Sunday and into Monday. But the fair weather doesn't last long. Another low-pressure center will approach on Tuesday... first, throwing us a warm front and some showers... then dragging a cold front behind it and giving us a chance for some thunder on Wednesday. Heavy rain is likely on Wednesday. We'll have to be mindful of the possibility of (more) flooding by late in the week.
The rain changes to scattered rain-snow mix showers by Thursday morning. Weak high pressure returns by Friday.
