For the first time in ages, looks like we'll finally get a dry weekend. High pressure is in the area and will last for a couple of days.
TODAY: mostly sunny, seasonable, high 58.
TONIGHT: mostly clear and mild, low 41.
SUNDAY: mostly sunny and warmer, high 68.
MONDAY: mostly cloudy, scattered showers, high 65.
TUESDAY: mostly cloudy, warm, high 68.
WEDNESDAY: mostly cloudy with some scattered showers, high 67.
THURSDAY: mostly cloudy, chance of showers, high 68.
FRIDAY: showers and storms, high 67.
What a beautiful weekend! As an added bonus, once the temperatures climb above normal on Sunday, they'll remain above normal for most of the week.
A cold front sweeps into the state on Monday and that could trigger a few scattered showers. It's a relatively weak front, so it doesn't look like it will generate heavy rain or thunder, just showers. Tuesday's warm front will give the temperatures a little boost and keep the clouds around. But another cold front on Wednesday may be strong enough to give us a few showers. The bigger system arrives on Friday... that one will give us some thunder.
