TODAY: mostly cloudy with a chance of showers late in the day, afternoon temps in the low-50's (the high for the day was at midnight... it was 57 degrees).
TONIGHT: scattered rain showers changing to wintry mix as the overnight temps drop into the mid-30's.
SUNDAY: rain/snow mix and rain showers, high 44.
MONDAY: mostly sunny, high 50.
TUESDAY: sunny, high 56.
WEDNESDAY: mostly sunny, warmer, high 63.
THURSDAY: partly cloudy, high 67.
FRIDAY: mostly cloudy, warmer, high 71.
The cold front that triggered last night's severe storms is gone. The east coast will have to deal with it today. We have a different low-pressure center to condend with today. As it moves northeastward into Ontario, it will drag a deep trough behind it... and that gives us a chance for some showers later in the day and into the evening.
The trough still lingers around on Sunday. But with colder air filtering into the region, some of the rain showers could turn into some rain/snow mix... then back into rain during the day... then back into rain/snow mix before tapering off Sunday evening.
By Monday, high pressure settles in... and the weather turns nice for most of the work week. By the middle of the week, temperatures should be back up to normal.
