Most of our domesticated animals are wusses because we keep them inside, close to us. Especially the little ones. They only go outside a few times a day and they're not accustomed to staying out in the cold weather... which means they don't have the coats for it.
A full-bred Husky may be able to stay out in the winter weather for a while but even they can't take it for extended periods. Especially in the kind of temperatures we'll have later this week.
As the temperatures drop Friday and Saturday, remember your four-legged friends are just as susceptible to the cold weather as we are... even though some of them have slightly-thicker fur coats. Here are some cold-weather tips from the ASPCA:

Bottom line: if you're not comfortable outside, your pets won't be either. Bring 'em inside to stay warm.
